And this is only the beginning. There is much more going on at Bethel, but we can't write about it all. We can tell you that, more likely than not, you will find Bethel Christian Center to be a place where you'll feel comfortable, make friends, meet God and experience Him in a way you've never experienced Him before.

Sunday Morning Celebration - Bethel's church services really are something to experience. Very upbeat and lively, we give our all in giving praise and worship to God. Each week, Senior Pastors Ron and Annie Halvorson and Assistant Pastors Mike and Ronda Crites lead us into living the life that God intended for us. Also, we have special guests and special events every few weeks that you don't want to miss.

During each of our morning services we have nursery care for our babies, preschool care for our little ones, and Children's Church for our kids (grades 1 through 6).

Wednesday Night Breakthrough - This is our mid-week service with Pastor Ron, an in-depth Bible study covering a variety of topics. This is a great opportunity to "fill up your tank" in the middle of the week.

We have nursery care for our babies, preschool care for our little ones, Pioneer Clubs for our kids (grades 1 through 6) and our Youth group meets in the Youth Center.

Celebrate Recovery - Each Friday night we meet to help each other overcome our hurts, habits and hang-ups through a Bible-based twelve-step program. We have dinner, go to the big meeting, break up into our groups, then hang out over coffee and snacks. Is there a better way to spend a Friday night?

Music and Drama - Our Music and Drama ministry is well-known all over So. Cal and in many parts of the world. We strongly believe that God intends for us to use the arts to give Him pleasure and reach others for Him. It isn't unusual for us to have music, dance, skits, plays or even videos as a part of our church services.

Children's Ministry - We know that no one is more important than our children. Starting in the nursery, we meet the highest standards in caring for children. Our preschoolers and Kindergartners have age-appropriate stories, videos and crafts along with their own playground. We have classes for 1^st through 6^th graders during the Sunday School hour (10:15 - 11:15 AM) in addition to SuperChurch, our children's special church service during our church services at 9:00 & 11:30 AM. It's so much fun that kids would rather be there than anywhere else. On Wednesday nights, we have Pioneer Clubs for those 4 years through 6^th grade, with games and crafts, all built around a valuable lesson.

Youth Ministry - The years from 7^th grade through College-age are some of the most important in our lives. Our Youth ministry is very active, involved in community service projects as well as the fun stuff. The Youth meeting on Sunday mornings is really cool. We have a band made up of our own teenagers, games, videos and video games, and FOOD. We also have different groups according to age or grade for friendship and support. Our Youth Ministry could be a very important part of you or your kid's life. On Wednesday nights we get together for games and the Hot Topic, a Bible study with Pastor Steve, Mike & Nicole or Jake & Crystal .

Adult Sunday School - For an atmosphere that is more informal and personal, we have 7 Adult Sunday School classes for people in almost every stage of life or area of interest. This is where we make friends and really get to know each other while learning and sharing valuable information.

Support Ministries - Sometimes we find ourselves in places we don't like and aren't healthy. We don't know how we got there and we don't really know how to get out. Bethel offers various support ministries to help restore us to where we'd like to be. In addition to our Changes that Heal Adult Sunday School class, we have a Biblical Encouragement Center to help us see what God has said about living our lives. We also offer a rotating schedule of 12-step based groups for those who would be benefited by them.
