It is the
belief of Bethel Christian Center that everyone has sinned
against God and is in need of the forgiveness available through
the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
Thus, it is the mission of Bethel
Christian Center to help people find and accept this forgiveness
so that they may be transformed from a life of sin and despair
to a life of peace and joy. It is the mission of Bethel
Christian Center to help people build Christian character and
become a Christian Role Model by living according to the desire
of God as outlined in the Bible, God’s Holy Word.
Bethel Christian Center seeks to
achieve this mission by following the Great Commission given by
Jesus before His return to Heaven after His resurrection.
Our goal in obeying
Matthew 28:19-20,
"Therefore go and make
disciples in all the nations, baptizing them into the name
of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and
then teach these new disciples (followers) to obey all the
commands I have given you: and be sure of this -- that I am
with you always, even to the end of the world."
(Living Bible Version)
is to "Make Disciples," i.e. Christian Role Models, out of
everyone whose life has been transformed by the power of the
Holy Spirit.
(you can also
look at Ephesians 4:11-13)
